How much does a Class 3 DSC cost?

How long does it take to get a DSC?
Most applications are approved the same day, often within an hour of completing Aadhaar eKYC and video verification. You can download immediately after approval.
Which documents do I need?
For an individual: PAN, Aadhaar, a photo, and an Aadhaar-linked mobile and email. Organisations need registration proof and an authorisation letter — see documents required.
Do I need to visit an office?
No. Verification is done online via Aadhaar OTP eKYC and a short video from your phone or computer.
Is a USB token mandatory?
Yes. A Class 3 DSC can only be stored on a FIPS-certified USB crypto token, as per CCA guidelines. This keeps your private key from being copied.
What is the difference between Signature, Encryption and Combo?
A Signature certificate signs documents (enough for ITR, GST, MCA). Encryption encrypts data. A Combo bundles both and is required for e-Tendering, GeM and ICEGATE.
What is a DGFT DSC?
An Organisation certificate used only on the DGFT portal for foreign-trade activity. You also need your IEC certificate to apply.
