This policy explains how a Digital Signature Certificate and any USB token are delivered, and how cancellations and refunds are handled.
A DSC is a personalised digital product issued by a Certifying Authority after identity verification. Once issued, it is unique to the holder and cannot be transferred or resold.
The certificate is delivered electronically. After the Certifying Authority approves your application, it can be downloaded onto a compatible FIPS-certified USB token. Please download an approved certificate promptly; an un-downloaded certificate may lapse and require a fresh application.
Where a physical token is ordered, it is delivered to Indian PIN-code addresses. Dispatch is usually within a few business days; timelines are estimates that depend on the courier and location.
Because the certificate is a personalised digital product, cancellation or refund can be considered only before the certificate is issued or downloaded. Once issued, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Certifying Authority charges and token costs, once incurred, are non-refundable. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days.
If a payment fails but is debited, or a duplicate payment is made, it is normally reversed automatically by the payment gateway. If not, contact us and we will help you follow it up.
